Three-dimension Mathematical Model Study on Fluid Flow in Thin Slab Continuous Caster Mold

  • By using the commercial code CFX, the three-dimensional finite-difference model to sdriulate the fiuid flow in thin slab continuous caster mold has been set up. By using this model, the effects of the SEN variables and casting speed on sdrice turbulence and velocity fields in the thin slab mould are studied. The effect of the velocity distribution of noede outlet on the flow fiuid in the mould is also studied.
