  • The influences of ICP-AES measure conditions and the matrix effect on intensity of spectral line of scandium are systematically studied. Yttrium is employed as an internal standard element and the analytical line pair (Sc 361.384/Y 361.105 nm) is chosen. Thereby the analytical method is developed for direct determination of trace scandium in sefströmite and slags by ICP-AES.
