Influence of Cooling Rate on Crystallization Properties of Mold Fluxes

  • The influence of cooling rate on the crystallization properties of mold fluxes was studied by WCT-2 Differential Thermal Analysis(DTA) balance and LEITZ optical microscope equipped with 1350CC heating stage. Increasing cooling rate, the crystallization temperature, crystallization ratio, and the size of crys-tal is reduced, and the morphology of crystal is also changed greatly.
