Enhanced Electrochemical Performance of LiNiO2 Introduced by B Doping

摘要: 采用共沉淀-高温固相法制备了层状结构良好的LiNiO2和B掺杂LiNiO2,并对材料的晶体结构、表面形貌和电化学性能进行了表征。结果表明,B掺杂可以略微增大材料的晶格参数和晶胞体积,同时增大LiO6八面体的间距,进而促进锂离子运输。长循环数据表明B掺杂可以有效提高材料的循环容量保持率。微分容量曲线分析表明B掺杂可以有效抑制循环过程中的阻抗增长。Abstract: LiNiO2 and B doped LiNiO2 were synthesized using a co-precipitation-solid state sintering method. The crystal structure, surface morphology, electrochemical performance were investigated in this study. The result indicates that B could slightly increase the lattice parameters and unit cell volume, meanwhile, the LiO6 slab distance increases as well, therefore favoring the transportation of Li+ during (de) intercalation. Long term cycling data shows B doping could improve the capacity retention while the dQ/dV vs. V curves suggest the impedance growth was suppressed by B doping.
