In order to analyze the specific control behavior of acoustic wave on open flame, the flame shape and combustion characteristics of 3cm, 4cm, 5cm pool flames under 30-90hz acoustic force were analyzed. The flame image analysis shows that the flame under transverse acoustic waves has three states: intermittent cross-section, stretching and stable combustion; the numerical analysis of flame geometry shows that the flame surface is highly distorted and wrinkled under cross-section and unstable stretching state, and has higher fractal dimension; the frequency-domain signal analysis of flame area, height and width shows that the flame under intermittent cross-section state has a higher fractal dimension The flame signal is extremely unstable, and the peak value in frequency domain is between 0-10hz. The correction form of Ri number under the action of acoustic wave is proposed, and the critical Ria number of transverse and tensile state is determined to be 58.19. The analysis shows that the dimensionless flame height Hf and ln (1/Ria) have a linear decreasing relationship.
