Effect of LiF and B2O3 in Al-Si-O Ceramic Bond

  • 摘要: 研究了LiF和B2O3在Al-Si-O系陶瓷结合剂中的作用.结果表明,恰当的LiF和B2O3含量可以使结合剂与磨粒之间有足够大的结合力,但若进一步提高试样强度就必须考虑结合剂自身的强度.在作为cBN的结合剂时,结合剂中含有LiF和B2O3,对保护cBN磨粒是有利的.

     

    Abstract: The effects of LiF and B2O3, which are fluxes of ceramic bond of cBN abrasive grain, were studied. The results showed that the optimum binding strength betWeen abrasive grain and bond can be acquired by using Proper content of LiF and B2O3 in ceramic bond. However, to improve the strength of samples further, the strength of bond itself has to be considered as a critical cause. LiF and B,O, are advantageous to protect the cBN abrasive grain from reacting with other compositions in the ceramic bond.
