Research on the Mechanism of Plasma Electric Pulse Directional Cracking in Multi borehole Rock Mass

  • In order to study the directional fracturing effect of plasma electric pulse technology combined with slit tube and pre cut groove technology, plasma electric pulse directional fracturing experiments were carried out to study the mechanism and directional fracturing effect of plasma electric pulse directional fracturing under different slit tube shapes and drilling groove spacing. The results indicate that the structure of the slit tube and the spacing between pre cut grooves significantly affect the directional fracturing effect of rocks. Compared with the regular and flat wedge-shaped slotted pipes, the stress peak generated in the inverted wedge-shaped structure of the slotted pipe rock specimen is larger, and the energy gathering effect is most significant. Its directional penetration effect is better. The effect of electric shock induced fracturing on pre cut rock decreases with the increase of drilling groove spacing. When the spacing between the grooves is 40mm, the plasma electric pulse of the pre cut groove rock specimen has the best energy gathering effect and the best effect on generating directional cracks. At the same time, the directional cracking effect of the slit tube is more significant compared to the directional cracking effect of the pre cut groove.
