Abstract
Based on the equivalence principle between normalized Euler indices and diameter of metal grain, quantitative relationships between numerical descriptive measures of size distributions and those of lopological parameter distributions of metal grains have been derived, tabulated, and discussed, which can be used very conveniently to infer the width, skewness, kurtosis, ect. of distributions of lopological parameters from the data of grain size distributions, Experimental verification has also been offered.
