Abstract
A mathematical model of heat tratsfor of solidification process of continuous casting stainless steel slab is proposed. This model is aimed at fo-rcasting the metallurgical effects of operation processing parameters, such as temperature field of slab, the deepness of liquid pool, the thickness of solidification shell of stab, in continuous casting. A lot of functions is available with the model. It has been proved that this model can be used in helping operation of continuous casting, especially in studying and improving operation process of continuous casting.
