Experiemental Study on Three-dimension Velocity Field of Oxy-Coal Lance with a Five-Hole Probe based Computer Measuring System

Abstract
A new computer measuring system for three-dimension velocity field based on five-hole probe was developed. Many oxy-coal lances'velocity distribution in blowpipe of blast furnace under different conditions were measured in an experimental model and desired results were obtained with satisfactory due to the simple, quick and high precision measuring system.The measured results for GY-B1 oxy-coal lance in blowpipe show that the axial velocity profiles on different sections are similar to Gauss distribution and that the momentum and mass transfer near the exit of oxy-coal are very strong which is benificial to the mixing and combustion of coal and oxygen.
