  • The paper established a setting target model of the automatic shape control on the cold strip mill. It based on the on-lines buckling and postbuckling analysis, with a compensation of temperature measurement across the strip width. It was acomplished on two modernized strip mill, 2030 CVC and 1250 HC, and its efficiency was proved to be superior to that of the imported model.
