Filtration of Liquid Steel in Tundish by A Lime Filter

  • The inclusion behavior in the tundish with a lime filter was investigated through the industrial trials. The results of the industrial trials showed that the inclusions were improved by 20% after the filtration. A model for calculation of the inclusion removal efficiency was established. The results drawn from the model were compared with that of the industrial trails.
