Mathematical Modeling of Water Spray Cooling Process in Horizontal Continuous Casting
Based on the production of horizontal continuous casting,a mathematical model of strand during solidification and cooling is set up.The relationship of the temperature field solid shell thickness and liquid core length of strand with the casting parameters(casting speed,cast temperature) are obtained in different cooling intensity of mould and different water spray quantity.
