Identification of Phases for Etching Interaction of Fe with Diamond
The etching interaction of Fe with diamond was studied after sintering at 950 ℃ for 6 min. According to the result of AES C KLL line, the state of carbon near the diamond-iron interface was determined to be considered as graphite but not Fe3C. Carbon atom is dissolved from diamond crystal lattice into iron.
