  • The fundamental equation for the high speed knock-on process was derived.The high speed deformation, penetrating process and the super high speed knock-on process were analyzed. Based on the research, the idea of melt-penetrating process has been advanced, and the theoretical formula of penetration for the melt-penetrating process was derived. Its value is in good agreement with the experimental results.
