Plasto-elastic Analysis on Stress Fields of Hydraulic Screwdown Cylinder and Its Optimal Design
A practical mechanical model for a hydraulic cylinder is put forword. By the aid of plasto-elastic theory, the stress analysis is carried out.The complex method is adopted to optimize design parameters of the cylinder. Tests gave satisfactory results.
