Simulation of Mold Filling with Vector Stream Function-Vorticity Method
The mathematic model simulating mold filling process with vector stream function-voracity method and turbulent flow model has been established, by which the mold filling process in casting has been modeled.The result calculated is in good keeping with the result measured, which demonstrates that fluid flow and heat transfer during mold filling can be simulated by this method.
