Deformation Characteristic of Drawing Flux-cored Welding Wires with Roller Dies

Based on the experiments with MTS material testing machine, the characters of the deformation and technology in drawing flux-cored welding wires through conventional dies and roller dies have been analyzed. Experiment data about deformation parameters, force and engrgy parameters, powder flow, lubricating, et al. is obtained.Good foring ability and deformation distribution which decreases drawing force are proposed in roller dies drawing.
