Effect of Total Finish-rolling Strain and Pass Strains on Precipitating Behavior in Ti-IF Steels

  • The effect of total finish-rolling strain and pass strains on the precipitating behavior of TiC has been discussed, using the thermomechanical simulation technique. Results show that the total finish-rolling strain and pass strains have an important effect on precipitation behavior of TiC particles, and proper match of them would be benefit to get a sparse dispersion of coarse TiC particles.
