Prediction of Surplus-life for Shell of Bao Steel 300t BOF
The obvious deformation occurred in shell of Bao Steel 300 tone BOF turned into a serious danger for safety production. A series of studies were carried out for determining the reason of the deformation such as finite element analysis for stress of the shell and creep test, etc. By means of these studies, the strplus-life of the shell was predicted successfully.
