The oxidation thermodynamic analysis and a series of experiment of oxidation resistance characteristics of unsintered Al₂O₃-C refractory used for blast furnace in water vapor were made. According to the Induction and the analysis on many experimental results, the oxidation regularity was concluded; the oxidation kinetic model was established Besides, the strenths of samples before and after oxidation were measured and compared.
