Synthesis of BBr₃

The synthesize BBr₃ by way of boron bromination was introduced. In preparation of element boron, B₂0₃ was reduced by Mg element, the preparated method is more facile to handle and has higher productivity compared with other methods. It is found that polyfluortetraethylene pipes are more resistence to corrosion of bromine and boron bromide at high temperatures. The condensation of high-temperature BBr₃ gas can be carried out by use of ice-salt bath.
