Optimization of purification control during tapping

An intensified purification control during tapping of converter was introduced. The results show that theO and (FeO) can be decreased effectively within a short period of time through this new process;based on the good dynamics condition during tapping, better refining effect and molten purity are obtained. By optimizing the process, some kinds of steel grades can be produced without LF treatment, which relieves the burden of LF.
